Race
Course
The News and Sentinel Half Marathon begins in downtown Parkersburg.
The rolling course will then take you out of the city and into the scenic
surroundings of West Virginia before looping back into the commercial
area. You will finish the race to the cheers of thousands of spectators
lined up on Market Street prior to the Parkersburg Homecoming Festival
Parade.
Two
mile course

This
course consist of running a loop via Juliana, 4th, Avery 2nd and Juliana
Streets, past the starting point and continuing up Juliana to 13th Street.
Turn right onto 13th Street to Avery Street. Turn right on Avery to
11th Street. Turn right on 11th Street to Market. Turn left onto Market
and continuing to the finish at 6th Street.
